Item 5 - 1922 milk jug

This small milk jug was released for the 1922 Preston Guild and shows the Guild mayor and mayoress, Mr and Mrs Astley-Bell, at the outer edges with the Preston crest at its centre. The base bears with the Diamond China mark.

This is one of my favourite designs of Guild ware with its colourful look.

Approximate dimensions - base diameter 3 1/4 inches, height 4 1/4inches.
